How visionary are you?
The first step on the Jamtai Light Warrior initiation path is to recognize that you are the creative power. You hold all the threads of your soul's being in your hands: the threads of past lives, the threads of your past decisions, the threads of your current responsibilities, and yes, the threads of your future development and your future being.
A crucial characteristic for internalizing and living one's own creative power is the ability to develop visions for one's own life, for one's own self.
When we talk about "visions" or "being a visionary," we often fall prey to the misconception that we have to invent or achieve great things, like Leonardo da Vinci. Yes, of course, one can develop "great" things in one's creative process, but generally, the first step is to actively tap into one's own creative power. In other words, we begin to act, instead of constantly reacting to what comes our way. When we tap into this creative power, we become "doers." This life, or rather this incarnation, then becomes a projection screen for our own ideas. Only then do we truly begin to live our own lives according to our own vision, and not simply function within a predetermined system from our first breath to our last.
But how do we get there?
Self-reflection
A good way to tap into your own visionary power is through consistent self-reflection. And no, I don't mean pouting selfies 😊. It's more about observing and reflecting. How do I feel when I go to a parents' evening? How do I feel when I come home from a long day at work? How do I feel when my mother wants to visit? How do I feel when I'm intimate with my partner? What do I need to feel good? What do I need to be able to let go?
In self-reflection, you constantly assess how you feel in any given situation in your life. But be careful, this isn't about playing blame or shifting responsibility for your own well-being onto others. That's not easy at all. Pay attention during your self-reflection to how quickly we tend to blame others when we're not feeling well or comfortable. At the same time, it also means that we don't have to simply tolerate or silently accept all the behaviors of others in our lives. It's a real balancing act. If you'd like to delve deeper into this process, I recommend the "Soul Training" program.
The invitation again: Practice self-reflection – you'll learn to understand yourself so much better. You'll no longer just react, but begin to take control of yourself and your own life.
Then comes the second step.
Daydreams
Allow yourself to daydream. By that, I mean give yourself the space to imagine your life in all its different variations. Here's an example. Let's say, through self-reflection, you've realized that you're not actually in the loving relationship you'd like. Now, let's not immediately blame ourselves or our partner. Remember, simply leave blame out of it. It's just an observation. Your ideal of a relationship isn't currently being fulfilled.
Now you're going to daydream. And don't forget, anything goes in the process of daydreaming. Play out whatever you want in your daydreams. A hot, erotic relationship with your partner or someone else, or perhaps a romantic encounter with wonderful gifts and surprises, or, or, or… As they say, thoughts are free. The funny or sad thing is that we often belittle ourselves for our daydreams. Either we dismiss them as a waste of time, or we feel guilty because we imagined what it would be like to be intimate with someone other than our partner, or we're ashamed because our daydream might be scandalous.
But daydreams are just daydreams... they're not real. You've only created scenarios in your mind in that moment, and anything goes. You can explore everything, try everything, be anything... And we don't hurt ourselves or others by doing so.
And now, in the third step, comes the great art.
What do you want to experience in reality?
To develop clear visions, the first step, "self-reflection," is immensely important. Through consistent self-reflection, you enable yourself to know what things in real life make you feel good and what you don't, or don't feel good about at all. We might daydream about doing wonderful things with a hot lover on the beach, but we know that in reality, that wouldn't be what would truly make us happy. It was simply a daydream, or your reality is completely different. But the connection between self-reflection and daydreaming leads us to begin developing "visions" of how we truly want to experience our lives.
What do we want to experience when we come home? What should our daily life look like? How do we want to live our relationship? etc.
You are the focus
And then we can start developing ideas about how to make what we want to experience a reality. Perhaps you've noticed in your daydreams that you're constantly drawn to the sea. That you feel free and alive by the sea. Then one idea could be to book a holiday by the sea to find out if you really do feel free and happy there in real life, or if it was just a nice fantasy.
The important thing here is that we develop ideas that can actually be implemented. In other words, ideas that can become reality and allow us to gain experience. And of course, the next step is to actually follow through, meaning to put the ideas into practice and gather more experience.
In this way, we become the creators of our own reality. But conscious creators. We stop simply reacting and doing what others want us to do. We become the architects of our own lives and take responsibility for ourselves. Only this truly sets us free.
