Hello beloved primal trust and soul rushing friends,
Even before the Corona Pandemic, the word "sleeping sheep" was haunted by social media - in my opinion a real nonsense - and during the pandemic it was used diligently to disparage those who thought differently. (and by the way: I very often have the greatest inspirations about my spiritual questions in my sleep, which I keep asking myself and my life)
In this article I would like to come to “spiritual questions” for yourself, namely questions that can indicate a spiritual awakening. They are essential questions. In order to obtain answers to these questions, we then embark on the path of enlightenment.
Awakening - also spiritual awakening is always a process of development and self-knowledge. It doesn't "snap" and you're fully awakened...People who do this end up in psychosis and psychiatry rather than living an "enlightened" life. Growing or awakening step by step is certainly beneficial for your soul and spirit health.
In order to make the process clearer, through which we are going to wander right here, I would like to give you a small picture in advance: Imagine you are in a room, it is dark. You could just live in this "dark" room and try to find your way around. But it can also be that at some point you start to ask yourself questions, such as Where am I actually? Why I'm here? How did I get into this room? Was I somewhere else before? Is there perhaps more than I can see here in this darkness? How can I enlighten it?
And maybe you will find that you are not alone in this room. And you may find that most of the people around you in this room aren't even asking these questions that you've started asking yourself. Maybe you suddenly see a light somewhere and go there and see a person who shines from within. In its light you can begin to see more. Maybe you ask this person: How did you do it? And learn from him - hopefully how you too can start to glow from within so that the dark room can gradually become lighter. Until everyone who wants to see can really see.
WHO AM I?
"Who am I?" is probably the most essential and often the first question we ask ourselves when we begin the process of awakening. This question can arise in you very early on, as a small child.
When we are born into this life we go through different steps of self-discovery. At some point we understand that we have a name because the others always call us that. We're starting to call ourselves that too.
Then we learn that there is an “I” besides our name. We begin to no longer refer to ourselves by our names, but by I. The next step is then the big questions: "And who or what is this I?" The beginning of the great journey to yourself and self-knowledge has begun.
How deep and how far this journey will go is a very personal decision. i am body i am thoughts I'm the one walking through this life. I'm the one having all these experiences. But am I more than this body and this mind?
Ultimately, the question "Who am I?" can lead you to your soul being. Here lies the awakening to your soul and to what you truly are: soul. - Warning: not everyone takes this step and it's okay. It's all about what steps you want to take.
WHAT IS MY CALLING?
When we embark on a "spiritual" path of awakening, the question of vocation inevitably comes up at some point. It lies beyond the classic questions: "And what do you want to do after school?" The question "How do you want to earn your money?" would probably be more honest - the main driving force or the great pressure that we have built up as a society - Earn money so that you can live at all.
There is actually no question of an appointment here. Not in kindergarten, not in school, not in training or during your studies. And also rarely in the parental home. In a still "dormant" state, it's "only" about how you can stay afloat financially.
But at some point that is no longer enough for a spiritually awakening person. At some point you can no longer “just” go to work because you need the money. In the awakening process you feel that there is a calling, that you have a calling. A call of the soul to express itself with its gifts and abilities. And this is the best way to earn money.
When we say as children that we are going to be a dancer, or a painter, or a musician, or a tractor driver, or a dinosaur researcher, or, or, or, adults often answer: “You can’t make money with that!” – even if you’re still very young . And so, as children, we learn to bury and veil our soul's call. Go the way that is accepted as socially compliant and at some point we feel empty and burned out.
For this life, for this incarnation, the soul has activated very specific gifts and abilities that it would like to live out, that it would like to bring into the world, with which it can bring more light into the system - into its own and into the collective. Therefore, the question of calling will be a very persistent one on our path of awakening until we can overcome our fear and wholeheartedly follow this beautiful call.
WHERE AM I FROM?
Children often have a flash of light from this question very early on. A feeling of "something is wrong here!" - you feel so much bigger, freer, different than the reflection in the mirror. Apartments and living spaces seem cramped and somehow too small, too colorless, too inharmonious, etc.
Then it can happen that this question falls asleep again and actively comes to the fore when we start walking the path to enlightenment in adulthood. Simply because many feel - not all - that the earth is not their home, that there is a different connection to souls than to the people with whom one is connected now.
Maybe we have - even in childhood, before we really arrive on earth - scraps of memory from earlier lives, places and people.
Sometimes we feel a longing for our homeland, for our soul family, for our soul lover and we cannot really name or grasp this longing. It just burns within us. The question "Where do I come from?" is an invitation in adulthood to embark on a search, to your soul home (perhaps a star home?), to your soul family, which is energetically always at your side and accompanies you through this incarnation and also to your true being. Where am I from?
Can bring the realization of who you really are. What it means to be a soul that wanders from life to life, from experience to experience.
WHAT IS MY SOUL PLAN?
With the question, where do I come from, sooner or later comes the question of the soul plan. Why are you born right now into this life with these constellations. Why did you have this or that experience? Why? What is the plan behind it.
In the awakening process it is quite natural that we first question this incarnation. You might even get a feeling that something must have gone wrong here. One would never have voluntarily chosen such a life, such experiences. Never. What is the big plan behind it. The question of the soul plan is really about understanding the meaning of the experiences that one has.
And that's worth its weight in gold. Really worth its weight in gold. Why? If we want to understand it, if we focus on the soul sense, blame games, perpetrator-victim roles, manipulation constructions etc. can be broken and overcome.
To understand it better, here's an example: From the "superficial" level, I could have done without growing up with an alcoholic father. I could sit here now blaming my father for the many awful hours at home when his alcoholic condition has darkened the home.
You were afraid of arguments, assaults, humiliation and injuries. But getting bogged down, spreading blame, and feeling sorry for yourself keep you in the dark. Finding the plan behind it puts you on the path to enlightenment. For me, for example, it is, among other things, these years as a teenager that sharpened me, they made me extremely sensitive to energies and moods.
You have taught me to see through lies, deception, untruth, etc. They taught me to observe very closely, to perceive calmly, mindfulness and actually the ability to face the storm without breaking down, without breaking down. You made me realize my strength.
The question about the soul plan is an invitation to embark on the path of self-knowledge. Which soul expressions were allowed to unfold, which gates were opened. Where is the red thread of your soul journey through life?
WHAT'S THE MEANING OF MY LIFE?
Perhaps one of the most important questions on the path to enlightenment is this: What is the purpose of this life? Why did one want to incarnate so badly? Attention, even if it seems similar, there is a big difference between the purpose of life and the soul plan.
The soul plan is life-spanning. By that I mean that at some point the enlightenment process is about not just being limited to this one life, but as a soul carrying memories from very many lives (not all of which have to have been on earth). Some more (old souls) and some souls less lives.
And this is not a rating. It is about experiences and memories that you have made as a soul. In dealing with the soul's plan, one can then often actually recognize a red thread of the soul's path and, above all, one begins to recognize the big picture piece by piece like a jigsaw puzzle and learn to understand it.
The purpose of life is about this life. At some point in the enlightenment process we are charged with finding out what light we want to bring into this life and into the world. Which way we want to go and which footprints we want to leave behind.
Which experiences our soul should have in this life, because it is these experiences that are stored in the soul plan and are then available as a piece of the puzzle for the big picture. So, should it be a light part or a dark one.
And the great thing: you can decide on the meaning of your life. You give your life this meaning and you can change this meaning again and again, depending on where you are, what you are discovering and developing. We are allowed to change, we are allowed to change, we are allowed to draw from the full and give ourselves with everything that we are in life. We decide about the meaning of our life - free from norms, social guidelines, how one should be and how one has to function.
However, it is often the case that the further you go on the path to enlightenment, the more you will strive to create light. To give something beautiful into the world, harmony, peace. Love, appreciation, mindfulness - and yes, of course we can also be mad, angry, annoyed, frustrated, annoyed and negative.
That's human. We are human too. That doesn't make your piece of the puzzle for this life dark and bad. But it helps if we remind ourselves in our dark hours, in those times when we feel like we're falling, that we are the creators of our life's reality.
That we have it in your hands to turn the tide, and what a great experience we gather here as souls, staying focused on the light even in dark, transformational hours. So we make more and more wise decisions for our lives, bringing in more light that feeds us and the soul collective.
AM I WHO I WANT TO BE?
On the path of awakening, the question "Who am I?" turns into this question: "Am I who I want to be?". This is an invitation to constantly observe yourself and your life, to be mindful of yourself and your actions to find out: Are you the light you want to be? Or do you always act below your potential.
And don't forget: the path of spirituality and awakening can be a joyful one, can be fun and yes, we can make mistakes, we can also be really stupid. That's part of the journey. We may recognize. We can also recognize when we lie to ourselves, when we fool ourselves, our pretended holiness, our mistakes, but also our strengths, our light and our talents.
Am I who I want to be? is perhaps THE question of all questions on our spiritual path. If the answer is "No" - it's now not about condemning and beating yourself up, but forgiving yourself - "it may have been like that" in order to do it better immediately, if possible. If the answer is "yes" - we can celebrate and decide and find out how to act even more brightly.
We become the conscious shapers of the reality of our lives. That's the great thing about spirituality, the process of awakening. Not the twinkling flashes of light behind your eyes when you meditate, but your real life, every moment, beautiful, harmonious, peaceful, full of light and wonderful experiences. That's why it's worth the journey. That's why it's worth overcoming all the hurdles that you encounter on the way, that's why this path is fulfilling.
May your path be just as great and unique.
All the best, your Jennifer <3
