Soul Astrology 1
The sun sign – first entry
Hello dear friends of basic trust and soul rushing,
we as "soul beings" were so wise to give us many little "remind me" on our way through the incarnations. So that we can better recognize ourselves, so that we can see our soul's plan, so that we can develop our potential and talents.
One of these "remember me" is astrology. Again, there are many ways to remember who you are and what you wanted to do with this life. Astrology is just one of them. But in my opinion, a particularly valuable one. However, it is also important here that you remember that there is no "status quo". You are not locked into your horoscope. It "only" shows you your lineup. Then how you play with that lineup is your creative power. It is your decision and your free will.
And before we dive into the power of the sun sign, one more thing. Like so many systems that have been around for a long time, there comes a time when you run the risk of the system becoming rigid. The followers of the system begin to develop tunnel vision and it is easy to start arguing about the truth.
For decades I have dealt with the classic path, only to leave this path at some point in order to devote myself entirely to the soul. Soul is always the central focus for me and from the soul and the soul's journey, I also grasp astrology.
As always: take with you what you resonate with and feel true to you and leave what doesn't suit you right now. No matter what article you read here with me: I'm not trying to convince you. I'm just putting my current state of knowledge out there to share. May this be valuable in your life journey.
The soul has a plan
I've said it many times before and I'll repeat it here again: your soul is not only this life, which you are now consciously experiencing. Your soul contains very, very many lives. She is on a journey to experience her perfection, to recognize herself, to create, to create, to shape. So many choices, so many opportunities. In order not to get out of hand and to remain able to act at all, we give every life journey a framework. A playing field with basic energies from which we can act.
If you perceive too much at once, there is a possibility of being overwhelmed by the impressions and what is even sadder, the too much robs you of your ability to act. It is therefore important to make the framework a bit narrower in order to be able to go into a constructive creation process at all.
Imagine the soul entering a large room. Here are all the souls that have just incarnated on earth. Everyone sits together in different large groups and plays their “game of life”. As in a board game, each soul chooses a figure with a color. They will play with this colored figure, this is their basic equipment.
Let's stay with the example of the game: If we play a board game, we say "don't fret," we can choose between four colors. We choose a color before we start and we play with that color until it's over. During the game we can no longer change the base color. We started with that and that's how it's going through the game now.
So it is with your sun sign. Before you incarnate, your soul knows all the options, all the possibilities and it chooses a color (sun sign) with which it would like to go through the next incarnation in order to experience its life.
In doing so, she chooses the most suitable framework for herself to be able to implement her plans, her wishes in life, her goals. The soul always chooses very wisely - even if we very often cannot recognize this with our sleeping ego. By that I mean: you don't have the sun sign you have right now for no reason.
With this base color we start to play. And even if we think during the game "Oh, if only I had chosen a different color" your sun sign - your basic color - is actually not changeable. You can "play" like you're a different color, but in the end you're just fooling yourself and missing out on the great gifts your sun sign has in store for you.
Your color shapes the quality of your game. And if we recognize that and really get involved with our sun quality, then our life can really pick up speed.
The sun in the system
Look at our solar system. The earth revolves around the sun at its own pace. The sun is our elixir of life. We depend on the fact that it only emits enough energy for life to be possible at all. On earth we find all extremes and yet life is possible almost everywhere. The job of the sun - your sun sign - is to create a balanced energy so that a good life is possible.
We are invited to create the habitable zone with our sun sign, so to speak - a space in which your creative soul development process is possible. And the habitable zone will have a different quality, a different hue, for each sun sign. THIS IS IMPORTANT. Each sun sign is ultimately called upon to create its own habitable life zone. The energetic space in which he/she can feel comfortable. Only from this space can we become truly great masters of creation and freely develop our talents.
If we ask a fish to create something great in the Sahara, the greatest thing it can do is survive, with a lot of struggle and the prospect of failure and death at any moment. If we throw a lion into the sea and tell him to rule like a king, he can only fail. In the water he cannot come into his true solar power in order to live his great potential. He will perish, he will struggle to survive, and the true sea creatures will never accept him as ruler of their realm.
Do you understand what I want to tell you with that? It is important that we establish the habitable zone that suits us with our sun sign, otherwise life becomes a struggle. Otherwise life will survive. Otherwise we cannot build up our real talents and abilities, which each one of us carries within us, but rather destroy them in battle.
Too many people who do not operate in their habitual zone are destroying the world. If your sun sign is, let's say, "Pisces", then your life's work is to build a "Pisces kingdom". A habitable, liveable world for your PISCES base quality. From this realm you can then start to unfold and create great things in a life in which you feel comfortable.
That's why it's completely crazy to want to lump everyone together. Trying to inculcate the same content in all children at school under the same circumstances is almost insane. There will be children who feel totally comfortable with it, there will be children who can somehow come to terms with it for the few years and then there will be children who are suffering because they were thrown into the desert like a fish and are now functioning must.
Here struggle lasts for years, they start to doubt themselves, they start to despise their core qualities because they don't get taught how valuable those core qualities are. The tragedy often begins at a very young age and continues into adulthood. Because we have to meet my expectations. Having to please others. Then adult Leo children try to please their Scorpio parents. And I'm telling you: it won't work.
This is also the great balancing act that we are allowed to master again and again in our relationships with our parents, with our partners, with our children - to give everyone their habitable freedom in which they can truly feel comfortable and develop and still live together. It is possible, but it always requires an understanding that the other takes hold of his life from another realm.
An Aquarius needs completely different framework conditions to develop than, for example, an Aries and yet living together is always possible. Always. Between each sun sign, if we allow it, the other and you need your own space to develop.
Very few of us get our habitable zone in childhood - and adolescence (unless the sun signs match that of a parent or the parents are already very conscious in their encounter with their children, then the chances are greater).
If we can't find a framework to let our sun sign shine in a balanced sense of well-being, we often develop "sun balancing measures", which I would like to introduce to you here.
white dwarf
When our sun sign develops "white dwarf" behavior, we negate ourselves. We scale our own light almost beyond recognition. Just don't stand out. Just don't be different. These are the children who suffer at school. These are the children who at some point think they can no longer live like this (suicidal thoughts can occur here at puberty).
Because they have to survive in a zone they cannot live with and are constantly given the feeling that they are not right. They see no country, no prospect, where it could be better, often because no one encourages them to really be themselves, to find and develop themselves.
That's really very sad. As parents, it is our job to find out which habitable zone our children need, which energy their sun sign carries, in order to provide a framework in which they can appreciate, discover and develop themselves. We would save our children a long way of contorting and suffering.
And also as an adult: if your life is frustrating you, you don't see a glimmer of hope, you don't have the air to breathe, it may well be that you are in "white dwarf" mode - i.e. you live the qualities of your sun sign in a throttled mode . It feels like every day a little more dying and losing yourself. It is truly impossible to create a great, fulfilling life from this state.
The art of living is finding yourself and also living yourself, in a balanced way. Here you can use the sun as a symbol. If it shines in a "habitable" mode, then we're fine. Too much or too little always puts us in combat or survival mode.
In the "white dwarf" our inner sun shines too little. We freeze inside.
Red Giant
Too much of our solar energy brings us to the "red giant". There are children and adults who compensate for their life in the "wrong" zone with too much solar energy. They screw up and then really crank it up and drive everyone else crazy with their being or hurt them, constantly crossing borders and leaving scorched earth on their way rather than constructive achievements. Narcissism, ADHD, selfishness, recklessness, me first, etc. can all be expressions of "red giant" behavior.
In fact, it's just a matter of being overwhelmed. The sun's energy doesn't find a suitable frame to shine, so crank it up real hard to be seen, to get that pent-up energy somewhere else you'd burst or go insane. And going crazy is a great danger with the "red giant" - completely skewed self-awareness, borderline, manic-depressive etc. can be signs of the red giant, or oscillating back and forth between the white dwarf and the red giant.
There is an urgent invitation to find your inner center. To become calm, to be able to find out what do I actually need to feel good. Stop squeezing into the comfort zone of other sun signs. Instead, you start to appreciate yourself in such a way that you create your own habitable sun zone.
As an adult it is more possible than as a child. But conscious adults who have found their sun zone and can live their sun sign in a relaxed, balanced way can provide the framework for children to find, recognize and flourish.
Adults who really live their sun sign can create great things and experience their life as fulfilling and enriching.
The black hole
I would like to mention an imbalance in the sun sign here. The black hole. These are people who, as a rule, have not found any nourishment for their sun energy, their sun sign. They no longer know how to nourish themselves, how to enlighten themselves, how to shine and reign supreme. They are black holes or as we like to say "a bottomless pit".
If we haven't learned that our own solar energy is valuable and wonderful, it may be that we begin to feed on the energy of others, the supposedly better, greater, more beautiful energy. The more we feed on others, the more we sometimes forget what valuable treasures lie dormant within ourselves, waiting to be unearthed.
Black holes suck us dry and leave emptiness, regardless of whether you live the black hole behavior yourself or have come into contact with one. With a black hole, it's never enough. Never. No matter how much you put into it, it won't be enough and you won't get anything back from it. A great void remains. This is also what people who are currently in black hole mode often feel.
A great emptiness and boredom. Everything is grey, everything colorless, nothing feels fulfilling, everything seems pointless. Depression can be found here. They cannot see their own talents and gifts, do not know how to unearth their own inner treasures. They do not shine their own solar energy, do not heat their own universe and very often wait for someone outside to warm and nourish them.
The power of your own sun
Ultimately we can break out of any stage, we are not doomed to be a white dwarf, red giant or black hole forever, even though each of us might slip into one behavior or another along the way in life.
The invitation of life is that you take hold of yourself and let your sun shine in such a way that all soul development fields can be nourished. Rule your life from a comfort zone. That can be a way of finding things. We can try ourselves to find out where we feel comfortable. But different sun signs bring different basic needs and qualities.
In your horoscope you can imagine it like this: the sun is in the middle and everything else revolves around it. If we manage to arrive in our sun-being, I can create balance. Can my entire horoscope be fed healthily to fulfill their duties. If I slip into the red giant, white dwarf or black hole, the entire system gets into trouble. Maybe it's still running somehow, but it's certainly not smooth and easy anymore.
And we feel it. Quite often we feel that things are not going smoothly. But like with a car, where we might be able to hear that something is wrong here, we keep driving in the hope that things won't be that bad. And maybe we'll get quite far with it, maybe we'll get used to the fact that driving is difficult and also fearful that the vehicle could give up the ghost at any time, but hey, we always go there. The invitation is to be stopped and repaired.
You can repair yourself, if you lack the knowledge, you get help to learn. But don't let others fix you. Learn to heal yourself. This is the only way to reach your true creative power. This is the only way you can find yourself and your individual expression of your sun sign.
As you can see, the topic is very complex, but also incredibly exciting. We will get into soul astrology even more here on this blog. Next we will look at the habitable zones of each sun sign, then the "duties" of the sun signs. The levels on which we can live our sun quality and so much more. All the best and to a wonderful life, your Jennifer
