Intuition - the voice of your soul - maybe different than you think

Intuition is a wonderful thing. It is the voice of your soul that guides you on your path of creation. What does that actually mean exactly. I believe that many are not fully aware that the direction in which our intuition leads us is our responsibility.

It's not a higher power pulling you somewhere, like pulling strings. You, as the creator of your life, decide in which direction the compass needle of your intuition points.

Complicated? No, it's actually quite simple: even if you've heard it from me a thousand times, I like to repeat it again and again, simply because it's the starting point, the linchpin of everything: Will- you, I, he, she - each of us is the creator of his life and what takes place in it - regardless of whether you consciously shape your life or have given up your power and prefer to be the reacting one or the plaything of the circumstances. It's your creation. Your expression of this life. Intuition guides you along the path of your creative impulses.

Let's say you want to have a wonderful, fulfilling relationship. That is your current creative impulse, then your intuition will guide you and if you listen to it, then it will guide you to exactly the right person. Many years ago I was able to have exactly this experience.

I came out of a disastrous relationship and my dearest heart's desire was to finally find a man with whom I could have a partnership that would fulfill me. I lived with my parents again for a short time after the separation. And my mother told me on the first day that she knew a man who would be a perfect match for me. Of course, my ego quacked internally, "Oh, great, now you have to let your mother set you up!", but my intuition lamp jumped on immediately, blinking wildly.

At the same time, an old school love of mine came back into my life. There was an incredibly strong attraction between us, but we hadn't managed to get together in 10 years. Then the big moment came, I was dating my old school sweetheart and yes it was familiar, it was funny, there was attraction. He wanted to get together with me and it would have been so easy to say yes now.

If it weren't for the intuition that stood between us like a wall and called out to me: "Meet the man your mother suggested to you!". I followed my intuition that evening, thank God. Cut ties with my old school sweetheart, asked my mom to invite the "big" stranger over (under a pretext of course - not to match daughter up *laughs*).

The rest, as the saying goes, is history. I've been married to my mother's “unknown” for almost twenty years now. It's the best thing that's happened to me in this life. But my desire, my creative impulse "to finally lead a fulfilled partnership" was so huge back then and my intuition guided me, just right.

So: the intuition guides you according to your wishes, which you would like to have realized in this life. And this is where the crux begins with intuition: most people often don't even know what they want. They don't dare to go into their creative power.

They know what they don't want. But not wanting something doesn't bring something good into your life. Let's make it clearer with an example from my Fulfillment Book: imagine you're sitting at home with a scratchy red sweater that's too tight. You just can't express yourself fully in life with this sweater.

He takes your breath away. Now you can pull out your cell phone, call your mail order company and say: "I don't want any more red sweaters! It's terrible!” The mail order company will say: “Okay, then don't. We no longer send red sweaters!”.

What is happening? You're still sitting at home in your red sweater. 1.) because you didn't throw it away and 2.) there isn't another sweater because you didn't make a choice, because you didn't decide, because you didn't scoop. Not wanting something is far from creating.

It is probing and sounding out where the creative impulse could go, looking at which directions are all available. So it's good to know what you don't want. This is a first step. As in our example: no more red sweaters.

But now it's important to take the second step, to choose what you want: a blue sweater, or maybe a t-shirt, or even a shirt. The entire buffet is now ready: you are the creator, i.e. you decide what you want to choose now. By the way, you can now use everything (partner, money, vocation, health, etc.) for Kratzepullover.

This is so essential: YOU DECIDE WHERE THE JOURNEY GOES. As soon as you have made a decision, you activate your intuition, which has now received its assignment. Let's take our example again: you decide you want to finally experience what it's like to wear an airy, light, soft, enveloping t-shirt instead of the red sweater. Now your intuition knows what you want and will guide you. The first impulse from your intuition might be to whisper to you: don't order from the same retailer again (everything is scratchy and constricting there).

This is how intuition starts to work for you. But: Intuition rarely works linearly, it should follow the logical mind. This sometimes makes it so difficult to follow her and it takes a great deal of trust and courage to follow the path of intuition. Imagine everyone around you ordering from the retailer who only has scratchy sweaters in stock. Your intuition tells you now, don't order there, get dressed and go out, I'll guide you.

All your friends order from the scratchy dealer, your family, your neighbors. You tell them now that you won't be ordering there anymore but are going out, you don't know exactly where to go yet, but your intuition will guide you. What do you think happens in most cases? People will try to persuade you to leave your intuition path again.

Why can't you settle for the scratchy sweaters? After all, they all wear them. How do you get the idea that something better is waiting for you out there? When everyone wears the same thing here. Do you think you're something special?

Not giving in here requires a large portion of courage and self-confidence. Attention important: the statements of the outside world often reflect our own inner fears and doubts. So we don't need to be mad at friends, parents, partners, etc. if they want to pull us back to the scratchy sweaters.

It's a good moment to stop and face your own fears. Become clear again why you don't want to wear the Kratze sweater anymore, why you decided on the soft T-shirt. (even if the t-shirt is not there yet, but you finally want to experience how it feels to wear such a t-shirt. That's why you go this way)

We can always test ourselves, question ourselves and find answers from the voices of the outside world. And: you are free: if you find out: Scratch sweaters are really great... then you can get another one at any time. If you find that you don't have enough courage to step out of the crowd, then it still takes time, then you might need a few more experiences with the scratchy sweater before the soft t-shirt can come.

You are free, don't forget. There is nothing to judge here, nothing to judge and above all, please don't put yourself under pressure. You as the creator decide when it's time for scratchy sweaters and when it's time for soft t-shirts and when you want to jump around completely naked. Your time - you decide.

Intuition takes what you give it and aligns with it. By that I mean, if you turn away from the soft T-shirt and the thought or desire arises in you that the scratching sweater offers so much security, that it is already familiar and that you would like to gain more experience with it, then then your intuition will take that, and will surely guide you down the scratchy sweater path.

Then, once again realizing how humble this path actually is, you might come to the conclusion that your intuition isn't working because you're still stuck on the scratchy sweater path. Well… intuition always follows your creative impulse. She is your partner to support you so that you experience what you carry as a vision, as a wish, as a longing, as a goal, yes, and this can also be about the vocation, the soul plan and the life task . You also carry that as soul within you, what you would like to live fulfilled in this life.

As you change, your desires change, so your intuition changes with you and is always aligned with your creative intentions. The more you become a conscious creator of your life, the nicer it is to work with your intuition. Who doesn't always follow logical rules, who comes up with very unconventional solutions and ideas, but always in the service of fulfilling your wishes and dreams for this life.
