Old Souls - The deep longing for true spirituality

So that we don't misunderstand each other right from the start: I have nothing against light and love. On the contrary: this is one of the end goals that we all want to get back to.

But for Old Souls, it's time to take off the pink tutu of supposed light and love energy and truly let both shine from within. That's a huge difference: one is a superimposed, tightened feeling, which falters and, in the worst case, collapses when the storm comes. The other is an acquired light and a constant inner flow.

Both energies carry you safely through any rapids in life. And yes, you may have a strange feeling when the pink tutu from “Licht und Liebe” is supposed to be put on you from the outside. And yes, you can stand by yourself and say "stop!" if you realize that what's going on is not yours.

But for a long time I didn't really dare to stand by it, I had the feeling that there was something wrong with the "Licht und Liebe" hype.

Who is against “Light and Love” anyway? And when someone said something, the answer came: "You're just not ready yet!" As a young person, that hit me hard, but now I can tell you that this one sentence says little about you, but an incredible amount about you the one who says it.

I wasn't and I'm not against “Light and Love” at all, just like you certainly aren't either. But a great gift of Old Souls, which is now also referred to as so-called scanner personalities, is that they feel it when what lives in a person does not correspond to what a person expresses in their words and deeds. And you encounter that in the “Light and Love” hype en masse.

From "vocational paths" I am a projection surface for many unredeemed "light and love" states of other people. As long as you don't trigger, all is right with the world. But don't you press the right button. Then the pink tutu can take on an extremely ugly color pretty quickly. But I'll tell you a secret now: it's good if it turns an ugly color. Only in this way can we recognize that an “imposed game of light and love” does not truly fulfill us, does not bring us true inner peace, does not last.

True Spirituality

Old souls are searching for true spirituality as they know it from ancient, long-gone days in highly spiritual cultures. But what once was is not always so easy to bring back to life.

Why? Because we were ready to leave our high cultures behind and to devote ourselves completely to the development of the earth and humanity. It is THE great path of initiation, so to speak.

We went out of the light into the dark. Gave life after life experiences. Were perpetrators, were victims and again perpetrators and victims, in order to be able to recognize that we carry both within us. To be able to recognize that in true spirituality you stop slipping into one of the two roles, but you learn to walk on the middle of the coin.

In connection with your soul wisdom and your spiritual homeland lies the gift of remembering. If you remember how it feels to be in true spirituality, in the true "light and love" state, then it is like a light that can shine your way there.

The stones on the way

Everyone is unique and yet on a soul level we are one. This is the great balancing act that has to be mastered in true spirituality: to unite the highest possible individuality with the all-connectedness. Be true to yourself in oneness. Recognizing yourself in the mirror of others.

So get really upset if someone manages to trigger you or push your buttons. Emotions are human and the "negative" emotions are the helpers that can let us see where things are not going well in our truly spiritual being. That's why you can ultimately be thankful for every soul that manages to trigger you. If you accept her gift and have the courage to look at your own shadow, then you can go a long way further on your soul development path.

The courage to face your own shadow.

I have been in contact with over 100,000 people in the last few months. Can you imagine that? Yes, our beautiful online world makes this possible. And among these many people there is always one who attacks you with his opinion that spiritual knowledge must be passed on free of charge and that one should not earn one's money with spirituality.

I don't want to get involved in this discussion here, but at the beginning of my self-employment these attacks really hit me and knocked me out of my midst. Great! A shadow point has revealed itself. I accepted him with all emotions, from crying, being angry, being frustrated, not feeling recognized and recognized. Everything that goes with it to ultimately discover myself.

The development was to find my inner self-worth, which makes me strong, which carries me and helps me to stand firm even in these storms. Today, these attacks no longer affect me, they are no longer my playing areas, no longer my trigger points. Another point made on the path of true spirituality.

Yes, looking at shadow points is not that easy going. When you face them, it can really get down to business with all the emotions that go with it, from "I'll throw it all away" to "People are all stupid" to "I'm a loser!" or "Let me go with you the spiritual stuff alone!”.

It is important to stay tuned and look deeper. What aspect of self has not yet been grasped? For me it was then, self-worth. It was hard work to become aware of my own worth, free from the opinions of others, the system or anything else.

But walking the path of the shadows, bravely confronting your own fears, is always worthwhile. It will always take you a little further.

The Path of Initiation

If you really want to get to a deep inner "Light and Love" energy, then your choice is the path of initiation. What was once a deeply revered, valued path of development in our spiritual high cultures has now degenerated into a sad imitation. Today you can be initiated into almost everything in no time: in Reiki, in yoga, in anything else.

BUT: Initiations are not given from outside. No other human being can truly initiate you. Initiation is always a process path within, always. And the test is not taken by a human being, but by the omniscient soul field (or God, the great goddess, the angels or whatever you call the powers that work outside of our human existence).

The path of initiation is a path that can only be walked alone. No one can take the exams from you, no one can walk the path for you, raise your energies permanently, but you yourself. It is you who can walk the path.

Surely you can look for teachers, supporters who can guide you with their light so you don't get lost (yet getting lost and finding your way is part of the initiation process), so you don't get stuck in the dark (and yes , sometimes we also need to get stuck in our own frustrations with life, feel sorry for ourselves, sink into the mud a bit before we decide that enough is enough and that we want to embrace the light). A good teacher during these times simply holds the energy and waits until you are ready to move on, until you are ready to listen and recognize again.

When you come out of the tunnel of your own shadow, your own transformation, you suddenly stand in the light and feel the love of this light flowing through and enveloping you and life is illuminated and magnificent for a wonderful moment. These are the tender, precious moments when you feel it: the true light and love energy. They lie in your being like delicate porcelain.

And so you carry these moments with you. And the further you go, the more these so valiantly won jewels of light and love will illuminate your being from within. The easier the paths through one's own shadowy realms, through the tunnels of knowledge.

More and more you will be able to illuminate your path with your own light and the teacher/master steps back before you in deep humility. His work is done, quiet, humble, mindful, and nonjudgmental. You realize that you have always been your own master, that you have always been the creator of your reality and that every stone on your way wanted to support you in knowing yourself. That you are reaching for something higher, for something more beautiful, for your true shining self.

At some point you will have solved all onion layers, walked through all tunnels and shadow realms. This is the moment when the path of initiation has been traversed in all its beauty and completeness and you are constantly able to stay permanently out of the energy of light and love vibrating from within.

Remember: the goal is to make the path as beautiful and fulfilling as it possibly can be, and each stone precious and skillful, so that you may know yourself, so that you may ignite your light, into all the dark corners of self. This is true spirituality: the constant process of transformation towards the highest form possible as an incarnated human being.

The nice thing: You have all the time in the world. Your soul is immortal. The universe is patient. You get all the time in the world for your dramas, for your tragedies, for your comedies, for all the wonderful happy endings and exciting cliffhangers. It's all yours, you are the director. You write your path of initiation and every step is lived spirituality and the further you go, the more light and loving you will write your script, full of self-awareness, self-worth and self-love.

The journey is worth it. Let's boldly take the next steps forward.
